Retardation in the UK (London Part 2)

I learned two things this week:

1) I really suck at counter-strike. Like man, my reaction time blows, probably from all the punches to the head or something. I am actually through obsessive enough to create an experimentation regiment using several online reaction tests and charting the data in excel to insure I can creditably argue I suck based on physical disabilities so I can get a “handicap gamertag". (Not joking, I’m thanking some god my reaction time is getting better.)

2) Learning British accounting is like dealing with anything British, shit is all fucking different when it just doesn’t need to be. Furthermore, all that stupid shit is completely fucking over your day. FOR FUCK’S SAKE WHAT IS UP WITH THE THREE COLUMNS ON THE FUCKING BALANCE SHEET!!!? I ALREADY HATE ACCOUNTING AS IS! AND NOW I HAVE TO RELEARN THE WHOLE FUCKING THING AGAIN?

Now these annoyances are probably not enough to make me go out of my way to write a post, but Scritty was kind of enough to call me a fag and I strongly suggested I should hurry the fuck up. As such, I’m writing part two of London time.

Mind the gap (London part 1)

Coming back to LA after 10 days in London, well, frankly sucks. The only plus is the weather in LA doesn’t blow. Outside of that, yeah I’m back in hell (and jet-lagged by 8 hours). It was also nice of my hopefully future university to put in a pass or get-the-fuck-out math test after I paid a 1000 pound deposit.

I then spent the week after I got back getting up to speed on my “maths”. Though, on the plus side, I’m pretty decent at the derivatives now. The next post will be a Haruhi regression analysis of my enjoyment with the show. Here’s a preview, it’s a DOWNWARD SLOPE!

My apologies about the lack of updates. I haven’t had much free time for writing since I’ve been in London the past week or so and I just got back. But, at least 4chan is still in the news. Anime Expo 09, I can’t believe I’m still doing this

So I’m back from Anime Expo; along with the standard week or so it takes for me to give enough of a damn to write a post. Will I still be here ten years from now mocking people and buying anime shit? Sadly, that’s highly plausible.

There’s a complete lack of secular homeless shelters in this goddamned city.

So fuck this homeless shelter volunteering idea. I’m just gonna buy some wool socks and hand ‘em out to bums in town.

Maybe some chocolate idk.

Better than “Hey, I know you’re really fucking vunerable right now, so while you eat that food I just gave you, I’m going to give you a little sermon. Disagree, and I might stop with the food.”

So to help some homeless dude, I have to watch 'em get converted to dumbassery?

So I’m some kind of greenie, humanitarian now.

I’m going to be volunteering at a homeless shelter soon.

I know, fucking out of character.  I also attended a meeting with our minister for the environment. With lots of other folks from Greenpeace.

Does this make me a hippy? I’m worried I’ll catch “fervor” from them and wind up in a commune.

After last week, I finally got my hearing back and my head is now reasonable sound. With the remaining time leading up to Anime Expo, instead of watching anime as one would normally assume, I choose a different route. With summer anime being woefully lacking, I decided to go retro. I’ve been searching youtube for old school toons like a high school jock looking for where it all went wrong as he bags my groceries.
